Asian shares climbed on Wednesday as North Korea has delayed a decision on launching ballistic missiles toward Guam.
MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares ticked up 0.3 percent and Japan's Nikkei dipped 0.1 percent.
South Korea’s Kospi index jumped 0.6 percent. The Hang Seng Index surged 0.6 percent, while the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.2 percent.
Australian shares gained 0.5 percent.
