Review: Caution over elections in the Netherlands lowers the eurozone government bond yields

Euro area government bond yields fell on Wednesday, as investors are hesitant to take serious steps amid elections in the Netherlands and the meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve System, which is likely to make its first interest rate increase this year.

France's 10-year government bond yield was up 2 basis points at the beginning of trade to 1.12% before falling again. Germany's 10-year government bond yield dropped 1 bp to 0,44%.

Most euro area bond yields, which were rising at the beginning of trade, fell by 1-2 basis points.
