Review: Dollar boosted by rising bond yields

The dollar edged up to a one-week peak versus its counterparts due to higher U.S. yields and a sliding euro.

The dollar index rose to an almost one-week high of 94.104 .DXY.

The greenback was firm at 112.545 yen, having jumped from a one-month trough of 111.890 touched overnight.

The euro ticked up 0.1 percent to $1.1745, but traded near a six-day trough of $1.1722 scaled on Monday.
