Review: Dollar climbs on hawkish Fed speakers

U.S. dollar advanced on Tuesday after Federal Reserve Bank of New York chief William Dudley signaled another interest-rate hike is likely this year.

The dollar index rose 0.3 percent to 93.662 .DXY.

The greenback gained 0.7 percent against the yen at 110.38, rebounding from last Friday's trough of 108.72 yen.

The euro slipped 0.2 percent versus the dollar to $1.1757.
