The dollar dropped to its trough for the year on Thursday as heads of global central banks hinted that monetary policy's tightening is on course.
The greenback slipped against a basket of major rivals to its lowest level since October at 95.754.
The euro rose 0.3 percent to $1.1406, its highest since last year’s Brexit vote.
Sterling edged up 0.2 percent to $1.2954, on track for a seventh consecutive day of gains.
