The dollar dropped to its trough for the year on Thursday as heads of global central banks hinted that monetary policy's tightening is on course.

The greenback slipped against a basket of major rivals to its lowest level since October at 95.754.

The euro rose 0.3 percent to $1.1406, its highest since last year’s Brexit vote.
