Review: Dollar falls hard following North Korean missile launch

The dollar dropped to a four-month trough versus the yen in early trading on Tuesday after North Korea launched a missile over northern Japan.

The greenback was 0.55 percent lower at 108.660 yen after touching 108.330, its lowest level since April 18.

The dollar index was stable at 92.274 after sliding as low as 92.137, its lowest since May 2016.

The euro lost 0.1 percent to $1.1965 after rising to $1.1986, its top since January 2015.
