The dollar traded near a two-year low on Thursday. The U.S. dollar index was at 92.77 after sliding to 92.41 on Wednesday, its lowest level since May 2016.
The yen was little changed against the greenback at 110.61.
The euro was firm at $1.1845, after having increased to as high as $1.19105 on Wednesday.
The pound held at $1.3221, near Wednesday's 11-month peak of $1.3250.
