The dollar tumbled on Thursday on possibility the Federal Reserve would not tighten U.S. monetary policy as aggressively as previously expected.
The dollar index fluctuated at 93.184 .DXY, having slumped 0.75 percent overnight.
The greenback also dropped to 111.27 yen, around its lowest level since Sept. 20.
The euro soared to $1.1834 after surging from $1.1731 on Wednesday.
Sterling traded at $1.3324, near its highest level in almost eight weeks.
