Review: Dollar on track for weekly losses

The U.S. dollar index against a basket of six major rivals stabilized at 100.590 .DXY, being on the way to a loss of 0.6% for the week.

The Japanese yen jumped to a five-month peak of 108.73 against the dollar on Thursday and was not far away from that level, trading at 108.93 yen.

The euro moved slightly to $1.0618, on track to the first weekly increase in the last three weeks, although uncertainty about the French presidential election still affected the currency.
