Review: Dollar rises to 10-week peak

The dollar traded near its top in ten weeks on Monday, with impressive U.S. wages data last week giving traders confidence that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates in December.

The dollar index touched its highest since late July at 94.267. It traded near that level on Monday, virtually unchanged on the day at 93.789.

The euro was stable at $1.1726, having climbed from Friday’s trough of $1.1669 - its lowest level since Aug. 17.
