Review: Dollar sinks as U.S. yields slump

The dollar sank on Tuesday, sliding from an eight-month peak against the yen as Treasury yields dipped on concerns over the Republicans ability to pass their tax bill.

The dollar index traded at 94.729 .DXY, pulling back from a 10-day high of 95.077 scaled on Monday.

Against the yen, the greenback inched up 0.15 percent to 113.870 yen.

The euro was firm at $1.1613 after dipping to a 10-day low of $1.1580 overnight.
