Review: Dollar steady, U.S. jobs report in focus

The dollar was firm on Friday ahead of the U.S. non-farm payrolls data for August due later in the trade session.

The dollar index was stable at 92.716, on course for a weekly loss of 0.1 percent.

The dollar edged up 0.05 percent at 110.030 yen, touching 110.675 overnight, its highest in two weeks.

The euro slipped 0.1 percent to $1.1895 after hitting a one-week low of $1.1823 overnight.
