Review: Dollar turns lower on Trump Jr. emails

The dollar extended losses on Wednesday after reports that President Donald Trump's eldest son had met with a Russian government lawyer, who might have damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

The greenback fell by 0.4 percent to 113.46 yen, retreating from a four-month peak of 114.495 yen hit on Tuesday.

The dollar's index was fluctuating at 95.58, just above its nine-month trough of 95.47.

The euro rose to a 14-month peak of $1.14895.
