Review: Euro eases, dollar stable on Monday

The euro dipped on Monday as Spain’s constitutional crisis intensified worries over political stability in the country.

The single currency inched down 0.13 percent to $1.1770, heading to $1.1729.

The dollar surged 0.2 percent to 113.74 yen and scaled its top since mid-July at 114.09.

The dollar index .DXY ticked up 0.1 percent.
