Review: Euro fluctuates after Catalonia referendum

The euro dipped in early trading on Monday after Catalonia's independence vote.

The single currency slumped 0.3 percent to $1.1773.

The dollar index edged up 0.3 percent to 93.349.

The greenback firmed against Japanese yen at 112.86.
