Review: Euro rises to its highest since January 2015

The euro hit 2-1/2 year peak on Friday as ECB President Mario Draghi stressed the single currency’s strength in his post-meeting news conference on Thursday.

The common currency traded at $1.2062 after hitting $1.2092 in early trading, its top since January 2015. It has advanced almost 15 percent against the dollar so far this year.
