Review: Euro sinks on rising political risks

The euro slips to a three-week low against the greenback on Monday as dubious European economic data added to political risks in the bloc, making investors to sell the common currency.

After trading in positive territory in early trade in Europe, the euro dived after noon, dropping to a three-week low of $1.0650.

Despite industrial activity in the euro area grows at the quickest pace in nearly six years, risks over the French elections are still rather significant.
