Review: Euro slumps as ECB keeps interest rates unchanged

The euro sank on Thursday after the European Central Bank kept interest rates unchanged and its monetary policy in general.

The euro dipped to $1.0885, compared with $1.0905 on previous day.

The ECB confirmed that euro area's economy improves and faces less risks, but investors remained slightly disappointed that there were no signals that interest rates could soon rise.
