Review: Euro soars on Draghi's statements

The euro leaped on Wednesday after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said that the regulator could adjust its quantitative easing program this year.

The single European currency climbed 0.4% to $1.13480 after rising to a 10-month peak of $1.1356 after ECB President stressed that the economic prospects in Europe are improving.

The dollar index against a basket of six major rivals fell to 96.365, which is well below the previous session high of 97.447.
