Review: Euro weakens as ECB hike expectations lower

The euro seeped lower on Thursday as annual pace of inflation in Spain and Germany decline, that make investors think that tightening of monetary policy by European Central Bank is impossible in the near future.

The euro fell by 0.3 percent against the greenback.

The single currency may have also faced problems after UK Prime Minister Theresa May officially began Britain's departure from the European Union on Wednesday, starting a process of two-year talks.
