Review: European stock markets

European markets, as expected, opened higher on Monday, despite uncertainty over the impact of the U.S. missile strike on Syria last week.

The FTSE 100 is expected will receive more than 8 points, or 0.12%, at the opening session. Germany's DAX gained 0.19%, or 23 points. France's CAC 40 is not very active and may get 2 points at the opening.
