Review: European stocks edge up as focus shifts to economic data

European equities inched up on Tuesday, shrugging off North Korean plans for a ballistic missile launch as attention turned to the state of the global economy.

The pan-European STOXX 600 index increased 0.2 percent. Euro zone blue chips advanced 0.3 percent.

Britain's FTSE 100 rose 0.3 percent, Germany's DAX climbed 0.4 percent and France's CAC 40 was up 0.1%.
