Review: FTSE breaks four-session streak of losses

U.K. stocks have been under pressure this week as the pound has risen to six-month peak.

The FTSE 100 index rose 0.2% in early trade on Thursday, to 7,126.

The pound rose to $1.2825 on Thursday after MPs backed Theresa May's call for a snap election on Wednsday.
