Review: Investors in Asia moderate their appetite for risk

Asian shares were generally rejected by investors on Wednesday, April 19.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares fell by 0.6% to the lowest level since mid-March.

The Japanese Nikkei was able to remain stable for the moment, while the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite continued its recent retreat, dropping 1.4%. The Chinese market has fallen for fourth consecutive session due to concerns over tightening regulation.
