Review: Nikkei declines amid North Korea's provocative actions

Japanese stocks fell on Monday in lackluster trade as the yen strengthened and as global geopolitical risks increased after North Korea launched four missiles, three of which landed in Japanese waters.

The Nikkei edged down 0.5% to 19.379.14 points.

Shares of defense-related industries rose on speculations that the last North Korea's provocation will boost more Japanese spending on arms.
