Japan's Nikkei dropped on Friday as the yen remained robust against the dollar after the U.S. Federal Reserve did not announced more rate hikes as some traders had anticipated.
The Nikkei fell by 0.4% to 19.521.59 points.
Over the week the benchmark index lost 0.4%. On Monday Japanese markets will be closed due to the national holiday.
Today markets pay special attention to the meeting of finance ministers and heads of central banks of the G20 countries in the German city of Baden-Baden.
