Review: Oil rises slightly as Saudi plans to cut exports to Asia

Oil prices rose modestly on Tuesday after news that Saudi Arabia will cut supplies to Asia in September.

Benchmark Brent crude was 0.5% higher at $52.58 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate futures rose 0.6% to $49.63 a barrel.

Saudi Arabia is planning to cut exports to its customers worldwide next month by at least 520,000 barrels a day.
