Review: Pound drops to one-month trough on BoE's cautious steps

The pound continued to fall on Friday, dipping to a one-month trough versus the greenback, as the Bank of England’s announced a very cautious monetary policy over the next three years.

The pound slipped 0.1 percent to $1.3040 on Friday, its lowest level since Oct. 6.

After the first rate hike in over a decade on Thursday the central bank hinted at just two more quarter-point increases over the next three years.
