Review: Pound holds above $1.35 ahead of British retail sales data

The pound firmed just above $1.35 on Wednesday, as investors focused on UK retail sales data for their next steps.

Sterling traded at $1.3520 versus the dollar.

The British currency was unchanged to the euro, at 88.75 pence.
