Review: Pound on track for third weekly loss against euro

Sterling dropped versus the euro on Friday, on course for a third week in row of losses.

Britain's pound traded at 91.10 pence against the Europe’s common currency.

Against the greenback, pound was slightly higher due to wide dollar's weakness across the globe.

Fresh earnings and retail sales data did not change investors opinion that a U.K. rate increase is possible only in the second half of 2018.
