Review: Pound sterling dives as May get green light to start Brexit

The pound sterling fell on Tuesday after the British parliament gave the green light for Prime Minister Theresa May to begin negotiations on withdrawal from the European Union.

The pound dipped 0.5% to $1.2155 after both houses of parliament supported the so-called Brexit bill, giving allowance to May to launch a two-year negotiation period for EU withdrawal by the end of March.
