Review: Stock market is ready to slide down

On Tuesday, U.S. stock futures pointed to modest gains at the open, while analysts attribute this deviation is driven by geopolitical fear, including former Federal Bureau of Investigation head James Comey's testimony to a Senate at the end of this week.

S&P 500 futures dropped 5.75 points, or 0.2%, to 2,429.00, while Dow Jones Ingustrial Average futures lost 42 points, or 0.2%, to 21,134.00. Nasdaq-100 futures fell by 10.50 points, or 0.2%, to 5,870.50.
