Review: U.K shares hold highs for second consecutive trading session

U.K stocks grew for a second consecutive session on Monday thanks to activity in the corporate sector and higher metal prices supporting the investor sentiment.

The FTSE 100 increased by 0.11% to 7.351 points after a 0.4% gain on Friday.

The attention of market participants is also focused on Brexit bill discussion after Brexit secretary David Davis urged Conservative MPs not to "tie the hands of the Prime Minister" by supporting corrections to the Article 50 bill.
