Review: U.K. stock market opened lower

European stocks opened lower on Monday as investors are interested in political events in the U.K., where the fragile government headed by Teresa May is on the verge of the decisive events that can lead to a second election later this fall.

Britain's FTSE 100 is expected to return around 33 points at the opening trade.
