Review: U.S. stocks close with minor losses

The losses of Wall Street on Tuesday were comparatively minor as investors bet on the optimistic indicators of the corporate reporting season in the U.S., which starts this week.

Dow edged down by 0.03%, while the S&P 500 lost 0.14% and the Nasdaq was down 0.24%.

The profits of all S&P 500 companies are expected to rise by 10% in the first quarter in annual terms, according to Thomson Reuters.
