Review: U.S. stocks open steady, Fed minutes in focus

Wall Street opened virtually flat on Wednesday, a day after all three major indexes hit fresh all-time highs, as traders focused on Fed's November meeting minutes and assessed the latest economic figures.

The S&P 500 inched up 0.1%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 10.5 points. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.2%.
