Review: U.S. stocks slip at open, dragged down by tech, bank shares

Wall Street dipped in early trading on Thursday, dragged down by tech and bank stocks amid growing concerns over a Republican massive tax plan.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slumped 0.47 percent, to 23,452.89. The S&P 500 dropped 0.52 percent, to 2,580.81. The Nasdaq Composite tumbled 0.74 percent, to 6,739.08.
