Review: U.S. stocks turn lower ahead of Trump-Xi meeting

U.S. stock futures turned in fall in early trade on Tuesday, amid uncertainty covering Trump and Xi Jinping meeting at the end of the week.

The S&P 500 dropped 0.4%, to 2,348, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.3%, to 20,539, while the Nasdaq was down 0.4%, to 5,411.

Investors were still worried over the capacity of President Donald Trump to carry out his policy plans.
