Review: UK GDP grew 0.7% in Q4

UK gross domestic product (GDP) of the United Kingdom in volume terms how it was calculated, increased by 0.7% in the 3rd quarter (July-September) 2016 and in the 4th quarter (October to December) 2016, and was not revised after the second assessment data of GDP published on February 22, 2017. Overall, recent GDP data for the 2016 year were little changed after the second evaluation of GDP.

UK GDP growth in the 4th quarter 2016 was caused by strong consumer spending and strong manufacturing in the consumer industries. However, the slowdown in business investment fell 0.9%.
