World stock markets scaled new all-time high on Wednesday after oil prices rose to their highest level in more than two years. MSCI’s world stock index edged up 0.3 percent to a record peak.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index touched its top since August 2015.
Germany's DAX soared 1.7 percent to reach a fresh high.
Shares in London and Paris advanced 0.2-0.4 percent on the day.
