Trump's son-in-law to testify about Trump-Russia ties

The U.S. President's son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kouchner, agreed to answer the U.S. Senate committee questions about possible ties between Trump and Russia.

Investigations of suspicions about the presence of such ties and Russia's attempts to influence on the presidential elections in the U.S. are conducted by two congressional intelligence committees and the FBI.

Trump has spoken several times about the lack of connections and interests in Russia and called "fake news" reports that Russia could try to help him in the election. Moscow has also always denied the possibility of such interference.
