U.S. Commerce Secretary promised to pursue an aggressive trade policy

U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross promised to adhere to proactive and aggressive trade policy, with particular attention on ensuring the U.S. is getting only lucrative international trade deals, according to CNBC.

U.S. will pursue an aggressive policy, because of understanding that the last deals in the end have led to a large number of cuts at factories and a large number of closed enterprises, he said.

The most important priority will be the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with Mexico and Canada to create more favorable conditions for the United States.
