U.S. import prices fell 0.2 percent in March

The prices of U.S. imports fell by 0.2 percent in March - their biggest fall in seven month as the cost of oil decreased by 3.8%.

Over the past year import prices rose by 4.2 percent, compared to 4.8 percent increase in February.

The import prices fall is not going to be longstanding with crude prices moving higher recently amid rising geopolitical risks after U.S. missile strike against Syria last week. In addition Saudi Arabia admits prolongation of production cut deal for half year.
