U.S. not to withdraw from NAFTA at this time – The White House

President of the United States Donald Trump during his talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto promised that the U.S. would not immediately withdraw from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

According to the White House statement, President Trump agreed not to put en end to NAFTA right now, and the leaders decided in accordance with the required internal procedures, to begin the re-negotiation of the NAFTA deal that would benefit all three countries.

Earlier, The New York Times reported that Donald Trump can sign an order to launch the U.S. withdrawal process from the NAFTA.
