U.S. stocks inched up in early trading on Monday after the U.S. Senate passed 500-page tax bill.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 0.95 percent, to 24,462.39. The S&P 500 ticked up 0.698655 percent, to 2,660.68. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.72 percent, to 6,896.73.
Among the best performers were shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co and Morgan Stanley.
