Uber app is enriched with a new set of functions that drivers will find compelling. The IT company app’s recent changes in the new campaign named "180 Days of Change" is aimed at providing more comfort to drivers in terms of regulating their schedule as they need it.
One of those new functions lets drivers appoint time when they must be at a certain location. For instance, a driver who has a regular job needs to be at his place at 9 am, but he is willing to make a buck driving to work.
Updated app allows to set the time when he has got to be at the place of work. Uber is going to show the driver if there are rides along the way and signal when to start moving towards the workplace.
Earlier the app gave the opportunity to set the final location, but the time was nowhere to be set. Previously drivers could appoint two destinations each day, they’re now expanded to six.
One more fresh function informs drivers in case a rider is in need of a 45-minutes long journey or more. Drivers can decline the request or accept it confirming that their car has sufficient amount of gas and that they are ready to wait in the car for a bit.
