UK businesses feel deficit of workers as flow of people from EU countries shallows

British firms are experiencing a supply shock with less people from other EU countries coming to the UK, as businesses face hurdles finding employees, showed a survey of 2,000 companies.

Applications for open jobs had dropped from mid-2017 in qualified jobs, pressuring firms to lift wages, according to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
