UK economy at record low in five years

British economy registers the lowest performance in five years as minimal family spending in three years and diminishing business investment pulled it back, official figures reveal.

GDP expansion fell to 0.1% in the first three months of 2018, in line with the previous evaluation of the Office for National Statistics that insists the Beast from the East’s damage was not significant.

UK economy’s state will raise more questions in light of the recent data, as more signs suggest growth will continue to drop ahead of the country’s exit from the EU.
