UK house prices rise by 1.1% in June after three months of decline

The average cost of a house in the UK in June 2017 increased by 1.1% month-on-month to £211.301, according to the data of the largest mortgage society of the country Nationwide Building Society.

Annual house price growth accelerated to 3.1% after 2.1% a month earlier.

House prices in the UK once again began to rise, offsetting the decline during the three previous months, Nationwide’s Chief Economist Robert Gardner stressed.
