UK housing market continues to soften

The UK housing market has stalled in October with demand and sales sliding further, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors report.

The net balance of surveyors reporting price increases in the month dipped to +1 percent, down from +6 percent in the previous month.

The Bank of England increased interest rates last week for the first time in ten years, a move that may slow the housing market further over the next months.
